I have lived in Glasgow since 1995 when in the annual migration of the 18 year olds of the county, I came to this smoke-charred city to study English at Glasgow University. (Where I studying nursing....it's good to grow...)
I have lived with my boyfriend Stan for 6 years, in a cosy corner of Glasgow's West End. We have been making discordant music & laughing all that time (he laughs through the naggery).
polkadotmittens is the culmination of one of Stan and I's evenings of lustful word manglery: with our ISP, one is compelled to have a dot between two words for email addresses...he originally chose sniff.cotton..and I wanted polka.dress...but this was taken, so I fabricated polka.mittens...Always wanting a website, I never intended to have it called this daft name - so I must still be in prototype mode.
I love all things Orcadian...I am a born-again non-smoker...I love cooking and have a wonderful wardrobe of herbs, spices and condiments. I am very good at doing cartwheels, and I read lots of everything
